Our B.A. in Geography, General Track covers a wide range of topics such as physical geography, mapping, GIS, remote sensing, regional studies, urbanization, and ecology. The broad and synthetic nature of this degree makes it ideal for a wide range of careers in our region and elsewhere.
Our B.A. in Geography, Global Studies Track addresses the importance of understanding the causes and consequences of globalization. It focuses on processes that determine characteristics and interactions within and between countries and/or global regions.
Our B.A. in Environmental Studies, Track A is a multi-disciplinary degree that integrates diverse perspectives of the natural sciences and social sciences to examine complex interactions of society and nature. Students explore a wide range of environmental fields and career options.
Our B.A. in Environmental Studies, Track B is a more science-intensive degree oriented toward technical careers in environmental monitoring and consulting.
We offer a certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Our GIS certificate provides training in computer based digital mapping, geospatial data analysis, and remote sensing techniques, from fundamental concepts to advanced applications, giving students technical and administrative skills needed in the job market.
