SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM DIRECTOR OF THE CENTER FOR THE STUDY OF HATE AND EXTREMISM
The Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism urges all in our family of friends to donate generously to relief efforts to assist all our brother and sisters residing in Texas and Louisiana and we have provided a list below. While we have not really engaged in active fundraising to this point over our two decades of existence, I have issued this directive just to be clear. Effective Immediately and Retroactively Applicable to August 27 and until further notice the Center will not solicit donations or accept any funds (though non-monetized community and educational anti-hate research and volunteer efforts from outside of affected Tx/La are always welcome). The urgent need to alleviate the suffering of all affected by this terrible tragedy is as obvious as it is compelling.
